One of my favorite projects in the library each year is the author research project I do with 5th & 6th graders. They choose an author they love, research them, practice using Canva to create a presentation, then write them a letter, and I send it to the authors. This year, we've already had a LOT of responses and I'm hoping we still get a few more back! Many of these authors have taken the time to not only respond, but to write detailed letters back and answer student questions.
